1979 Ford Mustang 5.0 Coupe ex Sony Show Car. I am the 3rd owner of this car buying it in 1984 from a friend of mine. This Mustang started life as a Sony Show Car making the rounds across the county showing off Sony' s sound system. The Mustang has 11 Sony speakers, Sony Amp and Sony EQ. The original Sony head unit that was in the show car was replaced with another Sony head unit. The car was my daily driver and a show car until around 1990 when it was basically garaged and only put in car shows. This car has won over 50 trophies over the years and probably would have won more if I had the time. Since the car still had the original paint, I had the car repainted around 2005. Paint is good, but not great. The car has been garaged since 1994 and has no rust on the body and one small rust spot on the drivers floor.
